The Walk at JBR
This palm-lined promenade is where beach life and tower life meet. Café terraces spill onto the pavement, a wall of residential towers rises on one side and the sand waits on the other. Look both ways down the strip and try to take in how many towers stand shoulder to shoulder. It is a whole vertical town built right by the sea!
The Beach Outdoor Gym & Running Track
Between the shops and the sand, this open-air esplanade doubles as a seaside workout zone. Joggers pad along a track built just for them, and fitness fans test themselves on equipment anyone can use for free. Take a lap of the space, spot the workout gear and count how many ways people keep moving here with the sea as their view.
JBR Public Beach & Lifeguard Zones
Soft white sand, gentle waves and a giant wheel rising just offshore make this one of the city's favourite free beaches. Look closely, though, and you will notice the beach runs on rules too. Scan the shoreline for lifeguard towers and the flags planted in the sand, then gaze across the water at the island and its towering wheel.
The Wharf Link Footbridge
This footbridge turns a short crossing into a mini adventure over the Gulf. Palms grow right on the deck, shaded nooks invite you to sit a while and the railings barely block the view at all. Glance down as you cross, too, because the walkway hides a surprise underfoot. Pause mid-span and soak up the sea, the beach and the wheel.
Ain Dubai Wheel
Stand beneath this colossal wheel and crane your neck. Sturdy legs plant it to the ground, a web of thin cables stretches from hub to rim like the spokes of a bicycle, and cabins glide slowly around the edge. Count, compare and take in the scale from the plaza below. It is hard to believe something this big actually turns!
Bluewaters Residences Promenade
This waterfront path loops the edge of an island with a surprising origin story. Homes, shops and walkways were planned together here, and the buildings stay far lower than the skyscraper wall across the water. Stroll along the railing, compare the two skylines and let your eyes drift out to the open Gulf beyond.
