Small sling, giant legend! Keep your feet on the paving; the bronze star of this stop stands right in the middle of the fountain. Born as Parque Roma in 1903, this leafy square got a Michelangelo makeover in 1976 and a fresh polish in 2026, so Roma's most famous shepherd is ready for his close-up.
Parroquia de la Sagrada Familia
Holy Roma, what a facade! Services go on inside, so admire this church quietly from the sidewalk. Begun by the Jesuits in 1910, paused by the Revolution and finished in 1925, it became a landmark of the new Colonia Roma, and it still draws pilgrims today.
Casa Universitaria del Libro
Judge this book by its cover! The gate is the perfect reading spot, since the show here is the mansion's facade. Built in the 1920s for the Baranda family, this house later served an embassy and a Spanish social club before the national university turned it into a palace of books.
Casa de las Brujas
Something wicked this way comes! Residents live upstairs, so keep your broomsticks on the public sidewalk. Officially named after the plaza it faces, this 1908 brick fantasy earned its spooky nickname, the Witches' House, from a pointy roof and windows that seem to stare back at the plaza.
Museo del Objeto del Objeto
Object-ively gorgeous! Keep your pesos for snacks, because this stop is all about the stone facade from the street. This 1906 Art Nouveau house is now a museum of everyday design, from soda bottles to toys, and one of the city's handful of official Art Nouveau treasures.
Casa Lamm
Lamm-entably gorgeous! The galleries can wait; the French-style facade on the corner is the masterpiece here. Built around 1911 by developer Lewis Lamm, this mansion has been a family home that never was, a boys' school and an army barracks before art moved in for good.
Edificio Balmori
Balm for the eyes! Upstairs is home to residents, so enjoy this corner beauty from the street like a true flaneur. Raised in 1922 in quarry stone, the Balmori was nearly demolished in 1989 until artists turned it into a cause, saving one of Roma Norte's grandest facades.
