What will we see on the Irvine birthday scavenger hunt?

Your Irvine adventure takes you through the best spots in town, including popular attractions and hidden gems. You'll complete birthday-themed challenges at each location while discovering what makes Irvine special. The route is walkable and designed to show off the city while keeping the focus on celebrating the guest of honor!

How do we get started in Irvine?

After booking, customize your hunt with birthday trivia through your Client Portal (link in your confirmation email). On party day, everyone downloads the Let's Roam app, enters your join code, and heads to the starting zone in Irvine. The app guides you from there—no tour guide needed!

How much does it cost and how many people can join?

Birthday scavenger hunts start at $99 for groups of 1 to 20 players . Larger birthday groups can book 21 to 50 players for $179 or 51 to 100 players for $249 . Each option is one flat price and includes full customization with birthday trivia about the guest of honor.

What is the refund policy for birthday scavenger hunts?

Refund eligibility depends on how close you are to the event date and how much custom planning has already been completed. Your ticket credit is still good for 2 full years , and you can reschedule for free or move the credit to another city or hunt type if plans change.

Does the hunt start and end at the same place?

Most routes are designed as a loop that returns near your starting point —perfect for coordinating with restaurants, limos, or ride shares. You'll see the general starting area when you select your city in the app. The route is a walking tour (usually 1.5-2 miles) with no driving required between stops.

What time does the hunt start? Do we need reservations?

No reservations needed! The hunt is completely self-guided and can start anytime, any day. Just open the app when your group is ready. We recommend daylight hours for the best photo opportunities, but evening hunts work great too!

How do I add the birthday trivia questions?

After purchase, you'll receive an email with a link to your Client Portal (not in the Let's Roam app itself). There you can add 15 custom questions about the Birthday Star. Pro tip: have a friend or family member fill it out to keep the questions a surprise!

What if I haven't picked a city or date yet?

No problem! Birthday packages are completely flexible. Buy now and choose your specific city and date later. Your credit is valid for 2 full years and can be used in any of our 3,000+ cities worldwide.

Is this for kids or adults?

Both! Our hunts are perfect for ages 8 to 80 . Kids love the interactive challenges and 'Youngster' role, while adults enjoy exploring the city and can add bar stops along the way. We've hosted everything from 10th birthday parties to 60th celebrations—it works for everyone.

Do young children need their own ticket?

Tickets are recommended for ages 5 and up. Children under 5 can tag along for free —they don't need their own spot. The per-player count is really about who's actively participating in challenges.
