Analog Coffee
Analog Coffee, founded in 2011 by Danny Hanlon and Tim Hayden, was designed as an antidote to the increasingly fast-paced and digital world. There is no Wi-Fi here; instead, you’ll find a massive record collection, a stack of indie comics, and a partnership with local roasters that has stayed consistent since day one.
Little Oddfellows
This is a "cultural nucleus" of Capitol Hill. Housed within the historic 1908 Oddfellows Hall, Little Oddfellows is the cafe nestled inside the legendary Elliott Bay Book Company. This was originally the temple for the "Odd Fellows" fraternal organization, and its massive cedar beams and creaking floors have witnessed over a century of Seattle's social evolution.
General Porpoise Doughnuts
This structure stands on the edge of the city’s birthplace, where the 1889 Great Seattle Fire led to a massive rebuilding effort in heavy stone and brick. Today, it houses the vision of James Beard Award-winning chef Renee Erickson, offering a curated tour of the best roasters in the Pacific Northwest alongside artisanal, cream-filled treats.
Monorail Espresso
Founded in 1980 by Chuck and Susie Beek, Monorail Espresso began its life as the world's first espresso cart, parked under the Monorail track at Westlake Mall. It was a radical experiment: could you sell high-quality, ristretto-style coffee on the street for just a few cents? The answer was a resounding "yes," sparking a global coffee cart craze.
Victrola Coffee Roasters
Named after the popular home phonograph of the 1920s, Victrola Coffee Roasters is a temple to the "Jazz Age" of the bean. You are standing in their showcase roastery on East Pike Street, housed in a 1920s-era "Auto Row" building.
Vivace Espresso
You are standing at the "Altar of the Micro-foam." Founded in 1988 by David Schomer and Geneva Sullivan, Espresso Vivace is the place where latte art was introduced to the United States. David Schomer, a former Air Force electronics technician and Boeing metrologist, treated coffee roasting and milk steaming like a high-precision project.
Caffe Vita
This location at 1005 East Pike Street houses their primary cafe, their roasting operation, and their corporate headquarters. It is the definitive home of the "Second Wave" into "Third Wave" transition, where the rock-and-roll aesthetic of Seattle meets a high-level commitment to global sustainability.
